On Friday afternoon (6.30-7.30) Miranda Sophianou will speak about her book “My Grandfather Fahri” (a family chronicle which starts from 18th century Aleppo and continues in Constantinople / Istanbul, Pergamon / Bergama of the late 19th century and New Smyrna, one of the greatest Refuges areas of Athens, after 1914.
The second part (8.15-9.30) is dedicated to the traditional music:
Vasilis Baraboutis and Stratis Psaradellis will play the saz, the tanbur, the Constantinopolitan lyre and the lute.
