Fifty-two icons from the Byzantine and early Ottoman period and a whole world closely connected to Constantinople has come to Thessaloniki from towns and cities along the Bulgarian coast where Black Sea Hellenism once flourished. The temporary exhibition "Byzantine icons from the Thracian coast of the Black Sea" represents five years of collaboration between Greek and Bulgarian institutions. At the Museum of Byzantine Culture until 4 March 2012.
