‘Byzantine Salento’, as seen and studied by the photographer Foteini Kaïmaki during the last twenty years, is the new temporary exhibition of the Byzantine and Christian Museum, Athens (October 2012 – January 15, 2013). Opening on Wednesday October 3, at 20.00. Musicians from Corigliano, South Italy, will play traditional music and sing in Grecanico language. The exhibition is held under the auspices of the Italian Embassy.
